The Chevy Corvette 2023 is revealed in a memo that was sent to General Motors Chevy dealers regarding some key dates and the information that is concerning it. Though, it is not uncertain because of the new generation of “the new normal” in the state of world affairs. However, the coming model transition would not be like those in the recent memory.
Chevy Corvette 2023 Model – Coupe and Convertible
The 2023 Corvette, according to the dealer order guide, is two months away, that is coming out on March 21st. Then, three days later, on March 24th, the dealers will be able to begin placing orders for next year’s coupe and convertible. The online configurator for keyboard tire kickers is going to launch on that day, too. Then, on March 31st, the dealer will be able to begin pairing orders with their Corvette allocations.
On May 6, 2022, six weeks later, the Corvette production is expected to end.
Instead of Bowling Green Assembly Plant which is taking the traditional one- or two-week gap between model years. The 2023 Corvette production is slated to begin on May 9th. It is three days after the last 2022 which leaves the line. Then, on the May 9th date, which matches the date posted as the commencement of 2023 Corvette production in November 2021.
GM has kept allocations of standard Corvettes separate from the Z06. Also, for the C8, Corvette allocations wouldn’t be separated. However, it does suggest that 2023 Corvette Z06 production is going to begin on May 9th. It is the same day as the standard car. Furthermore, with the C7 Corvette Z06, GM based dealer does estimate allocations on how many Z06s the dealer had sold the prior year. With the C8, GM is going to use a dealer’s Average Daily Supply to gauge how quickly that dealer is selling Corvettes. Then it will determine how many of each Corvette the dealer gets.
